Let us introduce to you with pleasure a new social organization – the Central Asian Geographic Society. It is the first social organization in Central Asia which works for increasing and distributing geographical information about Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The Central Asian Geographic Society pays a lot of attention on the work of developing scientific research, on taking part in expeditions, on developing tourism, alpinism, travels as much in Kazakhstan as in whole Central Asia. We are interested in supporting our sportsmen in extreme sport as alpinism, diving etc. We plan to open special clubs for children where they would be able to study geography, history, biology and other sciences that make them open and develop their talents earlier.

Kazakhstan is full of archeological monuments, which are able to open new pages of the history of great and old civilizations for modern people of Kazakhstan. There are still many mysteries that are hidden in the territory of Kazakhstan. The spirit of adventure which fill archeological expeditions could pay attention to these issues and show the global society how rich are geography, history, culture and traditions in our region.

The Central Asian Geographic Society is able to unite all scientists, travelers, sportsmen from Kazakhstan and all other countries who try to research and rebirth a rich historical and cultural legacy of Central Asia. Our main goal is to show Kazakhstan as an open and interesting country for the whole world.

We are always try to be as much sophisticated as it is possible in tendencies of modern society, so we always try to support the program of developing the culture of Kazakh nation and whole Kazakhstan.

Besides, it is well-known that Kazakhs had always respected their own history and culture. It is not the secret that during 70 years of Soviet power all attempts of active propaganda of national culture were suppressed. Now we have a great opportunity to show Kazakhstan to the world with its unknown unique and one of the oldest civilization. Now we can show how interesting and complex modern Kazakhstan is. We can be proud of our great and unbelievably different culture only because of traditions of our ancestors.

Our mission is to conduce the growing and distributing of geographical knowledge in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, to develop tourism, to maintain cultural traditions and show our country to another nations and people all over the world.

The purpose of Central Asian Geographic Society is to unite possibilities among main kazakhstani and foreign scientists, travelers and all interested organizations and citizens and make some conditions for developing geographical knowledge, creating new tourist roads, popular extreme sports and researching the great cultural legacy of Kazakhstan.

Goals of Central Asian Geographic Society
to help to study geography and distribute geographical information on the territory of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
to develop different research types of work in Central Asia.
to help and take a part in organization of cultural and historical expeditions in this region
to take and active part in the propaganda of historical and cultural legacy of Kazakhstan
to organize seminars, lectures and exhibitions about traveling, culture and history of our culture.
to conduct trainings for young kazakhstanies together with main scientists, to organize children clubs of natural sciences.
to give information to mass media (also in our special journals) about geography, travels, history, traditions and culture of Kazakhstan
to create the one journal of Central Asian Geographical Society which would be assist in the propaganda and development of tourism, traveling and rebirth of cultural legacy of the people of Kazakhstan, their history and culture.
Our priority is to promote our country in research and development of tourism, discovery and maintaining of the culture, traditions, and languages of the people of Kazakhstan in the world level.
